You Are Taking A Big Life Risk Without Proper Exercise

SHARE & COMMENT

Most of us spend a lot of time worrying about ‘things’. Things like making enough money to live a good life or being a good spouse, partner or parent. We often forget to take care of our health in the way of proper exercise and healthy eating yet if our body lets us down none of the above goals can or will be achieved. If these goals are so important, you would think that people would put their health at the top of the priority list as without it nothing else really matters.

Many people live a no proper exercise lifestyle and live on processed non-nutrient foods and the end result of living these sorts of lifestyle is that one becomes overweight, unfit and eventually will suffer from poor health.  This means that all aspects of you do not function as well as they should. Not only physical health but mental and emotional as well as they are all closely linked and any deterioration of one impacts on the others.

Proper exercise is not an ‘optional extra’

When you neglect your body and your health and place it way down the totem pole of life’s priorities sooner or later the consequences of that will come back to bite you on the backside. Your life cannot be properly balanced without proper exercise and healthy (unprocessed) foods. When it is not balanced all of your life goals are balancing on a shaky platform.

You will be less likely to be an active and responsive parent and less likely to have the business, career or personal success you desire and much less likely to have the money that can give you better choices in life.

We are so spoiled and have such an easy time in our modern world, such a far cry from our ancestors whose days were filled with hard labor just trying to stay alive. We have become to always be ‘wanting’ something, usually a quick simple solution to our problems, a miracle pill, drug, product or surgical procedure to cure our personal ailments and insecurities.

No ‘quick fixes’ with proper exercise

Proper exercise and eating healthy do not fall into these ‘quick fix’ processes. Our lack of perseverance and patience is widespread, and we quickly become disenchanted with our own efforts when we don’t get instant results.

So. we become over-fat and overweight from the lack of muscular activity and unnatural foods that contribute zero to our health. We go on like this through the years thinking we don’t need to bother with proper exercise and food is something that comes in a packet, box, can or frozen section of the supermarket.

The problem is though that  one day it will be time to pay the piper, and once the human body has arrived at a broken down state there is no cure. The big killer diseases like heart disease, cancer and diabetes and dozens of their mates all manifest themselves after years (even decades) or denying the body what it needs to stay healthy – proper exercise (strengthening) supported by a good percentage of one’s diet of unprocessed nutrient rich food.

But the good news is it is never too late to make changes. Just 2-3 sessions each week of a proper strength training program with some effort put into them supported by small healthy meals each with a portion of quality protein is what can turn your health around.

No, it will not be a quick fix, there is none. It is an ongoing journey where every workout and every healthy meal is one of the hundreds of tiny steps it takes to build and keep great health. If you decide to forgo this journey and neglect your most important asset – your health then it is you who must take responsibility for the outcome. But be aware that the life goals of being a good partner or parent will not be met as you may be forcing those people who love you to do without you.

Having to put oneself out and go to the gym a couple of times each week and get back into the kitchen cooking from scratch surely is a much better option and those that care about you no doubt would heartily agree.
